First off all: HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011 !!!
The first one I met in this New Year was indeed the Empress. When she came on I greeted her with proper respect and my best wishes for the New Year. I was called to what I think is her place and she gave me a communications device. After the instructions how it works I asked if I may state a request. The Empress was willing to hear me out so I asked her to spare Miss Tyee for my mistake. Of course she asked me why she should do so and I gave her two of my reasons.
First because it was not Miss Tyee who taught me the rules in the first place. I do know this reason is rather thin because Miss Tyee is still responsible for me.
As second reason I told the Empress that I had to recite the rules before and never got them wrong before. I also stated that this mistake occurred only from my nervousness in Empress's presence. Miss Tyee however has no influence on my nervousness. Based on this I took full responsibility for my own mistake.
When the Empress asked me who should be punished instead of Miss Tyee I answered that I alone am to be punished. I think she liked my dedication for Miss Tyee and granted my wish to spare Miss Tyee if I would find an item for her. Her orders were to find a spreader bar in which I was still able to walk around even when tied up. She said she does not know if such a thing even existed but I was given a week to complete my Quest. Furthermore I was told to keep record of the places I visit on my journey and to report my progress or the lack of it via IM every day. After I was dismissed I took off to complete my task to Empress’s full satisfaction.

Of course i could have stopped my journey at this moment and report to Empress about my success but I got curious and carried on my search. I entered the term “spreader bar” into SL search and found some others:

The last one is a very huge mall and I did not locate the spreader bar, but according to search results there must be one around somewhere.
By this time Miss Tyee had joined me and I filled her in on the most recent events. She made me show her my findings and decided for the first one that I found at the Marketplace. After that I reported my success to the Empress as ordered. Miss Tyee and I were soon joined by Kitti and Kiwi (Vacky) and I told them the whole story.
My behavior in this matter resulted in a discussion with Miss Tyee and Kitti where I found myself not to be understood completely.
